Kallos is seeking a dynamic and skilled Messaging Expert who can effectively bridge the gap between creativity and strategy. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a deep understanding of both art and science when it comes to delivering compelling messages. As a messaging expert, you will play a key role in crafting persona intelligence and defining a clear and succinct messaging strategy targeted at executive-level audiences within large enterprise and public sector organizations.
In this role, you will work alongside our global marketing and sales teams to ensure that our messaging is clear, cohesive, and impactful. The goal is to inspire, engage, and convert our executive-level customers by delivering messages that resonate with their specific needs, aspirations, and challenges.
As a member of the Executive Audience Marketing Team, you will collaborate with a range of internal stakeholders, including subject matter experts, product teams, and brand teams, to ensure that all messaging is aligned across various departments. Your efforts will drive adoption and usage of executive insights and messaging strategies, helping to create content and messaging that resonates with high-level decision-makers.
You will take ownership of developing and analyzing customer insights, creating messaging, writing, and editing materials, and shaping the intelligence strategy for the executive persona(s). In addition, you will oversee the development of executive persona content strategies across various sales and marketing channels, including web, email, digital media, and print.
In this role, your responsibilities will include:
Developing and owning messaging strategy: You will be responsible for establishing and owning the messaging strategy and framework for the executive audience persona or segment, encompassing both the commercial and public sector areas. This includes creating audience research and journey maps to deeply understand the specific needs, pain points, and preferences of these executive personas. You'll identify the most effective communication strategies and channels to engage these audiences throughout the customer lifecycle.
Creating value propositions and positioning: Work closely with subject matter experts to craft compelling value propositions and positioning that clearly differentiate Kallos from competitors. Your focus will be on tailoring the message to meet the unique needs of the executive audience, backed by market trends and competitive insights.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams: Partner with internal teams across Kallos Vietnam to develop a unified messaging and content framework. This framework will support campaigns and various marketing assets across web, digital, and creative channels, ensuring consistent and effective messaging.
Driving scalable messaging mechanisms: You will create scalable assets such as playbooks, toolkits, and how-to guides that will primarily be used by field and sales teams. These resources will be critical in helping the sales teams effectively communicate the value of Kallos's offerings to the executive audience.
Fast-paced execution and evolution: Work closely with Content Managers, Digital Media Managers, Field Marketing, Corporate Messaging, PR/AR, and other teams to quickly evolve and execute the messaging strategy across multiple channels. This requires agility and the ability to respond to rapidly changing business needs and market conditions.
To excel in this role, the ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications:
2+ years of experience in brand marketing, brand messaging, product management, or change management communications. You should have experience developing strategies that align with business objectives and engage targeted customer segments.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field. Alternatively, equivalent work experience in a relevant field will also be considered.
Experience with data intelligence and analytics: A solid background in developing data-driven insights and customer intelligence strategies is essential for understanding the executive persona’s needs and behaviors. Experience implementing messaging and marketing strategies that effectively drive business outcomes will be key to your success.
Strong collaboration skills: The ability to work effectively across teams, including product, marketing, PR, and field teams, will be essential for driving alignment and executing messaging strategies.
Excellent written and verbal communication: As a messaging expert, your ability to craft clear, concise, and impactful messaging for executive-level audiences is critical. You will need to communicate complex ideas in an easily digestible manner.
Creative and strategic thinker: You must be able to think both creatively and strategically when developing messaging strategies, ensuring they resonate with executives while also achieving business objectives.
